Hello
My name is Christian Mays. I currently represent Precinct 147 to the Warren County Republican Central Committee, and Senate District 7 to the Republican State Central Committee.
I am 1st and foremost a servant of Christ. I am a husband, a father, and a grandfather that believes in the American view of government, which is to say I view it thru a biblical lens.
Our rights are given by God, not government, and certainly not by men. I believe the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence which coins the phrase "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," fully encompass the God given vision upon which this country was founded.
As such I believe in Medical freedom, that no man or woman should be forced to engage in practices that violate our conscience and our bodies.
I believe in the sanctity of life, and that life starts at conception, and that the government's job is to protect that life without exception.
I believe in every U.S. citizen's right to keep and bear arms, and that any politician trying to push and create laws or mandates that come against this right is in violation of their oath of office and should be censured and removed.
My Story
Looking back I remember when I went thru the interview process to obtain my Ordained Minister credentials, and I was asked what I saw my ministry as being. I simply wanted to serve God and give back because I was given so much.
As pastor and founder of Torchbearer Ministries, we do just that. We help set men free that are struggling with the satanic bondage that is porn and sexual addiction. Thru this ministry, men get the healing they need, families are restored. Lives and souls are saved.
I tell you this because you need to understand, I have seen the face of evil. I have stared into its eyes, and I stood my ground. I know how to fight.
I ran for the position of State Central Committeeman because I was called by God to do so. The Sunday morning before the deadline to file, I was sitting in my living room waiting on my wife to finish getting ready for church, when I heard a voice (God's voice) clearly say "You should run for State Central Committee." I chuckled, looked upward and said nope, I'm good. I have no desire to be in that race. No thanks, and I let it go.
20-30 minutes later I get a text asking me "If I would prayerfully consider running for State Central Committee." I almost dropped my phone when I read it. Then right on cue, here comes my wife down the hall, and I told her what had just happened, she says, "well it looks like you're supposed to run." I asked her if she was ok with it, and she said let's head to church and pray about it, but yeah, she was ok with that. We got to church, prayed, and I had peace about it. 3rd confirmation. Fast forward a couple of weeks and well, here we are.
I believe as a Christian man and patriot I am called to do all I can to protect and restore the heritage of this great nation that God gave us.
I firmly believe our district needs transparent representation that does not pander to the establishment, nor gives in to the special interests, but instead aligns and conforms to the Word of God, our party's platforms, and district's conservative values.
My plan to start restoring that heritage is as follows:
1) To restore transparency by voicing the county's concerns and wishes to the state party and by reporting back regularly to the local Party all activities of the State. After all government is meant to be ground up, not top down.
2) Hold our representatives accountable. If they go against party platforms and consensus, they should be censured, lose endorsements, and not be allowed to further use our good name.
I humbly ask for your continued support in this endeavor.

May God bless you,
Rev. Christian Mays
